Introduction
We are pleased to announce the availability of Netify DPI Agent v5.2.9. As part of our ongoing maintenance of the Netify 5.2 Long Term Support (LTS) release branch, this point release focuses on enhancing core agent stability, optimizing memory and packet processing efficiency, and expanding precompiled distribution support.
The highlight of this release is the official launch of the Netify Intelligence Plugin, bringing advanced threat detection, risk indicators, and stateful behavioral analytics directly into the Netify Agent framework.

Netify Intelligence Plugin
Serves as a key building block for cybersecurity dashboards by incorporating cyber risk indicators, stateful flow inspection heuristics, and live IP intelligence. It maintains deep application visibility even against encrypted traffic standards like TLS 1.3 ECH and pairs seamlessly with firewalls via the Flow Actions plugin.

Enhancements to packet tracking and protocol dissector routines increase classification accuracy across complex, asymmetrical, and multi-homed network links.
Encrypted Traffic Heuristics
Updated behavioral analysis models allow the agent to classify modern encrypted application traffic without requiring deep packet inspection or SSL/TLS interception overhead.
