Mobile Gateways
Mobile Gateways
3GPP Mobile Gateways provide a way of bridging core cellular networks with the Internet. Services include WiFi calling, RCS, roaming, and signaling.
These mobile gateways use IPsec VPN for connectivity. That's great for privacy and security, but end users can sometimes be blocked by company firewalls, hotel WiFi, and public hotspots. The mobile gateway data makes it possible to isolate low-risk 3GPP mobile gateway IPsec connections from higher-risk general VPN traffic.
The Mobile Gateway IP data in the Netify data feeds provides not only all the active gateway IP addresses but also extended mobile information:
- MCC (Mobile Country Code)
- MNC (Mobile Network Code)
- Mobile Service
- Hostname
- Country
- Brand
