Network Ranges
Instructure does not have any defined network blocks. The application is distributed across the individial IP addresses summarized below.
Some applications are deployed across network blocks. Only networks that are dedicated to an application or platform are provided.
SaaS - Software-as-a-Service
Applications often use various third party platforms for providing authentication, advertisements, customer tracking, cybersecurity, e-mail services and more. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms used by Instructure are summarized below.
SaaS solutions are often deployed on multiple IPs across different geographical points-of-presence. In addition, it is common for these IP addresses to be shared by multiple applications. A sample IP is provided below.
SaaS | # of IPs |
---|---|
Adobe Campaign | 2 |
Adobe Marketo | 5 |
Service | Category | Sample IP | IP Count |
---|---|---|---|
Adobe Campaign | Advertiser | 54.200.115.157 | 2 IPs |
Adobe Marketo | Advertiser | 104.17.70.206 | 5 IPs |
Hosting
Hosting vendors like AWS and Microsoft Azure provide cloud-based computing and network resources to deliver applications. The hosting platforms used by Instructure are summarized below by geographical points-of-presence (PoP).
Each PoP can host many IPs to deliver an application. A sample IP is provided.
Cloud Hosts | # of IPs |
---|---|
Amazon S3 | 1982 |
Amazon AWS | 1421 |
AWS Global Accelerator | 2 |
Hosting Platform | Network | PoP | Location | Sample IP | IPs |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
AWS Global Accelerator | AWS Global Accelerator | Anycast | Global | 75.2.14.209 | 2 IPs |
Amazon S3 | Amazon S3 | US East (N. Virginia) | United States | 3.5.0.21 | 1982 IPs |
Amazon AWS | Amazon AWS | Asia Pacific (Sydney) | Australia | 3.24.111.146 | 100 IPs |
Amazon AWS | Amazon AWS | US East (N. Virginia) | United States | 3.81.254.12 | 1043 IPs |
Amazon AWS | Amazon AWS | Europe (Ireland) | Ireland | 3.248.162.118 | 45 IPs |
Amazon AWS | Amazon AWS | Asia Pacific (Singapore) | Singapore | 18.140.141.245 | 10 IPs |
Amazon AWS | Amazon AWS | Europe (Frankfurt) | Germany | 18.197.27.255 | 3 IPs |
Amazon AWS | Amazon AWS | US West (Oregon) | United States | 18.246.126.83 | 220 IPs |
Content Delivery Networks - CDNs
In order to get information to end users more quickly, many applications are distributed from multiple geographical points-of-presence (PoPs) using Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
Each PoP can host many IPs to deliver an application. A sample IP is provided.
Take special note of CDNs that use Anycast technology. Anycast makes it possible to route a single IP address to a variety of different geographic locations. In other words, one global Anycast IP is hosted in multiple geographic locations.
CDNs | # of IPs |

Amazon CloudFront | 274 |
Fastly | 4 |
