WiFi Calling and IPsec VPN

If you are seeking the IPs or hostnames to enable WiFi calling on your network, you are in the right place. WiFi calling is a powerful feature that can significantly enhance your users' experience, allowing them to make and receive texts and phone calls over a WiFi network, particularly in areas with poor cellular coverage.

Here's the gotcha -- the feature uses IPsec VPN to connect to the mobile network. Since VPN access is restricted on some networks for security reasons, WiFi calling becomes collateral damage. You can use the information below to allow specific IPs/hostnames for WiFi calling.

If you have implemented a DNS or hostname-based filter, you must safelist *.pub.3gppnetwork.org hostnames. Note: not every carrier adheres to this hostname standard, so you may need to add others found here.
