Syslog/TLS Protocol
This page provides information on the Syslog/TLS Protocol detected by the Netify DPI engine. The protocol operates on TCP port 6514 and UDP port 6514, both officially registered with the IANA.
Protocol Description
Syslog/TLS is a standard message logging protocol found in Unix/Linux systems. The secure syslog protocol allows for logging from one system to be sent to a remote logging server.
