Protocol Description

Gnutella was a popular peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used by dozens of software clients including Limewire, BearShare, and Morpheus. The protocol is still in use today.

Known Ports

  • TCP 6343 - Gnutella port.
  • TCP 80 - Gnutella alternate port.
  • TCP 443 - Gnutella alternate port.
  • TCP 1863 - Gnutella alternate port.
